The hitch fit great and looks great. If a disabled vet @ 81 can do it anyone can. Years ago, would finish in time said, but took 2x as long this time. Fourth time putting a hitch on something.
Easy to install and fit perfect.
Perfect fit, easy installation.
First off. Box was all taped together. Did I get something that was returned? There were some small scrapes on the metal and the staples that held the box together, weren’t holding the box together. The tape was.
Second. I watched the video. The pre existing hole that they pull the bolt through before it wiggles down and is pulled through the second pre existing hole is too small. Let me repeat that. The first pre existing hole that the bolt goes through is TOO SMALL!!! The head of the bolt is too big. It does not fit.
Now I have to bring the bolts through the back. A place where you cannot get your hands into.
I did manage to pull two bolts through and attach them to the front existing holes. I cannot get the rear bolts pulled through to the second pre existing holes.
I spent several hours trying and trying. I gave up. My patience was exhausted. I will need to take it somewhere and have the installation finished.
Did anyone check to see if these bolt heads actually fit through the holes. I’m guessing no!

It sounds like the box might have been damaged in transport, and attempts were made to retape the box. At the end of step 1 in the instructions, Blue Ox states that you might need to use a die grinder (Dremel tool) to ream out or enlarge the bolt holes. We're sorry about the difficulty you've had, you can use the provided link to find a local installer.
